The Monster at the End of the Book


Warrior 1*

From mountain pose jump your feet wide and then bend your right leg. Turn your body towards your bent leg and lift your arms into the air like a warrior stretching up to the sun pleading for guidance and strength.


Warrior 2*

From Mountain pose, jump your feet wide and bend your right knee. Now extend your arms to the side and look past your right fingertips like a warrior calm and steady ready to fight for justice


Warrior 3*

From Mountain pose, maintain the left foot on the floor while the rest of the body hinges at the hip and becomes parallel to the floor. Like a warrior on a horse getting ready to take flight.


Cord pose

Sit in garland pose and turn your waist to the left. Take your right outer arm to your left outer knee. Now make a noose with your arms going around your shins and meeting your left hand behind your back.


Warrior 1*

From mountain pose jump your feet wide and then bend your right leg. Turn your body towards your bent leg and lift your arms into the air like a warrior stretching up to the sun pleading for guidance and strength.


Gate

Stand on your knees and extend your right leg out. Become a gate by placing your right palm facing up on your thigh and extend your left arm over your head. Try to latch your gate by extending the torso to the right and having your two hands touch together at your foot.


Warrior 2*

From Mountain pose, jump your feet wide and bend your right knee. Now extend your arms to the side and look past your right fingertips like a warrior calm and steady ready to fight for justice


Bridge

Lay in Rest pose. Bend your knees towards your buttocks and lift your hips as high into the air as you can. Now place your palms under your hips and let your elbows come onto the floor to keep your hips lifted. Slowly extend your legs straight. Your body has now become a bridge that starts from your head and ends at your toes.


Warrior 3*

From Mountain pose, maintain the left foot on the floor while the rest of the body hinges at the hip and becomes parallel to the floor. Like a warrior on a horse getting ready to take flight.


Hero

From tabletop bring your knees together and take your feet wide. Sit between your feet. Be like a noble hero who is sitting tall willing to sacrifice for the moral cause.


Rest*

Lay down on your back. Rest for 2 minutes. You can count to 100 or skip count by 2’s, or even multiply in your head as high as you can. Then turn to your right side and sit up.
