Moon Salutation
-mountain
Stand straight and tall. Lift the bone in the center of your chest up like the
peak of a mountain and raise your heart to shine over it like the sun peaking
over the mountain. Move your arms to form the sides of the mountain. Be
strong like a mountain.
- crescent moon
Stand in Mountain pose and reach the arms up over head. Interlace the
fingers and as your reach up towards the ceiling bend towards the right side
of the body like the crescent moon you see in the sky.
- horse stance
Stand in Star pose and bring your hands in front of you. Bend your knees till
they are over your ankles.
- star
Start in Mountain pose and jump your feet wide so your feet are as wide as
your hands.
- triangle
Stand straight and tall. Lift the bone in the center of your chest up like the

over the mountain. Move your arms to form the sides of the mountain. Be

- extended side
From Star pose turn to face the right. Reach your arms over your head. Then
take your arms to the floor as you stretch and lengthen your sides evenly
over your front leg.
- low lunge
From Table Top take a leg and extend it till the foot is under the knee. Then
take the back knee back till there is an extension in the hip. Bring the arms
up over head.
- side lunge
From Wide legged forward bend bend your knee right knee over that leg
and straighten your left leg. Repeat on the left side.
- low lunge
From Table Top take a leg and extend it till the foot is under the knee. Then
take the back knee back till there is an extension in the hip. Bring the arms
up over head.
- extended side
From Star pose turn to face the right. Reach your arms over your head. Then
take your arms to the floor as you stretch and lengthen your sides evenly
over your front leg.

1/2 Moon
From standing jump your feet wide and bend at the waist sideways, brining one arm to the floor. As the arm comes to the floor let the opposite foot start to float up like the moon. Feel a little curve in your body from your head to your foot just like a curve in a half-moon.
Bridge
Lay in Rest pose. Bend your knees towards your sacrum and lift your hips as high into the air as you can. Now place your palms under your hips and your elbows on the floor to keep your hips lifted. Slowly extend your legs straight. Your body now has become a bridge that starts from your head and ends at your toes.
Reclined Twist
Lay down in Rest pose and bring your knees to your chest. Extend your arms out to the side in line with your shoulders. Keeping your legs bent, roll your hips to the right, back to center, and then to the left.
Tree
From mountain pose, lift your right foot to the inside of your left thigh. Lift both arms straight to the sky like branches of a tree.
Draw Apples in Tree
From mountain pose, lift your right foot to the inside of your left thigh. Lift both arms straight to the sky like branches of a tree.
Dragon Pose
From Table top bring a leg forward in between your hands. Slide the back knee away from the hips till you feel a stretch in the front hip and thigh.
Rolling Ball
Sit in Staff pose and bend your knees keeping your feet flat on the floor. Hug your knees and lift your feet off the floor so you are balancing on your sit bones. Roll back till your sacrum lifts off the ground and roll back up to put your feet back on the floor. Repeat as many times as you would like.
Boat
Sit in Staff pose and bend your legs. Lift your feet off the ground and place your arms next to your legs. Now balance like a boat.
1/2 Moon

Criss-Cross Applesauce
Horse w/ Antlers
Stand in Star pose and bring your hands in front of you. Bend your knees till they are over your ankles.
Mountain
Stand straight and tall. Lift the bone in the center of your chest up like the peak of a mountain and raise your heart to shine over it like the sun peaking over the mountain. Move your arms to form the sides of the mountain. Be strong like a mountain.
House
From Star pose bring your arms up over your head and interlace your fingers like the roof of the house.
Seated Twist draw building
Sit in Criss-cross and take your left hand to your right thigh and your right hand behind you. Lift the torso and turn to the right. Repeat on the other side.
Hero
From tabletop bring your knees together and take your feet wide. Sit between your feet. Be like a noble hero who is sitting tall willing to sacrifice for the moral cause. /

Rest
Lay down on your back. Rest for 2 minutes. You can count to 100 or skip count by 2’s, or even multiply in your head as high as you can. Then turn to your right side and sit up.
